| COMMENT CAB INTERIOR: Tidy. Operators seat cushion and backrest fine. Instrument panel tipping controls transmission controls gauges and switches all appear to be working well. Overhead lining is good however the area behind the operators seat is torn in several places and will need replacing at some stage. Rubber floor mats okay. EXTERIOR PANELS: Good. No signs of any major damage to any of the panels on this truck. There are some signs of early rust starting to appear in the operators LH outer door. The paintwork is faded on this machine and there are several areas where the paint is starting to flake off. Some minor stages of surface rust is starting to show. Outer safety rail and landing has been removed for transportation. FUNCTIONAL EQUIPMENT: The tipping body on this machine is in a good condition. Overall length of this machine is 9790mm long x 5463mm wide with a height of 4900mm. MECHANICAL: Road dirty. There are some minor oil leaks in several areas nothing too significant. This machine is a non air start version and has a manual greaser. Engine needed some jumper assistance however when started it ran smoothly with clean emissions both hot and cold. Produces black smoke on acceleration after been left idling for a while but is typical of a machine of this size. Vendor advises that the engine and differential were replaced at 47664 hrs. Final drives and wheel hub assemblies were reconditioned at 44844 hrs. Pumps were replaced at 32650 hrs and the transmission replaced at 46835 hrs. All servicing has been completed as scheduled. GENERAL: This is a good dump truck for its age and hours. Has been used in a mining environment. TYRES 27.00R49. Front LH 80%-RH 50%. Rear all tyres approx 50% wear remaining |
