| COMMENT OPERATORS AREA: Good. Operators seat cushion is split in several areas along the seams. Backrest good and seat frame has developed some surface rust. Dash area, throttle lever and forward and reverse levers all serviceable. There is one switch covering that is missing on the liquid. Painted area is scratched in several places and there is bad wear around the boot area for the operator which is showing some signs of surface rust. EXTERIOR PANELS: Good. Just the usual amount of scrapes and scratches which has allowed surface rust to form. Grey water tanks have faded over the years but are still functional. ROPS and flashing light still good. FUNCTIONAL EQUIPMENT: Roller is fitted with front and rear scrapers on both drums. Rear scraper on the front drum is adequate as well as the leading scraper on the rear drum. Leading scraper on the front drum and rear scraper on the rear drum are new. Steering ram eyelets showing moderate wear. Vibration system and ordering system not tested. MECHANICAL: Hino engine in this roller is in a road dirty condition. Engine started well and ran smoothly with clean emissions. Some slight fluid leak around the steering rams but nothing too significant. Forward and reverse and three speed gears all functional. GENERAL: Very good roller for its age and hours. Could do with a touch up in the paint department. Drum width is 1450mm wide both drums getting a little thin in places and edges have rounded off. |
