COMMENT
CAB INTERIOR: Tidy. Vinyl seat upholstery is in good condition. Instrument panel and controls tidy. The plastic face on the radio is peeling off. Floor mat okay but split by the pedals. The plastic air vent behind the seat is broken and the bail arm knob is missing. There is some crusty surface rust and pitting around the lower front window frames. LH front window latch missing. Some surface rust around the floor panel and under the seat. Generally not too bad inside but overdue for a clean. EXTERIOR PANELS: Fair. There is an area of crusty rust and one rust hole (20mm x 30mm) at the bottom of the cab front panel. The corner of the LH side battery compartment access door has a slight bend. The RH side access door has a large shallow dent (600mm x 400mm) and there is also a 380mm wide x 10mm deep dent in the hydraulic tank. The front of the toolbox has a wide shallow dent and the step immediately below has taken a knock. One belly plate is missing from the RH side and all the belly plates are dented including one that has been pushed up by 50mm. Paintwork presentable - usual wear around work affected areas and heavy scrapes at the rear of the couterweight and some side panels. Fitted with a ROPS frame. FUNCTIONAL EQUIPMENT: Boom and dipper look in normal working condition. Hydraulic rams clean and dry. There is a horrible clunking noise coming from the slew box and the slew brake is not effective. Only minor wear evident in the dipper ram eyelets, crowd relay arm trunion, crowd ram eyelets and boom rams upper eyelets. Minor to moderate wear at the boom base pin, boom rams lower eyelets, dipper / boom junction, crowd link eyelets and dipper / quick-hitch junction. Auxiliary hydraulics piped to lower dipper. Fitted with a wind-lock quick-hitch and two buckets: 1870mm wide cleaning buchet with a good edge but dented sides and a 950mm wide digging bucket that has three teeth missing. MECHANICAL: Engine reasonably clean - no visible leaks. Started well and ran smoothly with clean emission. Track and excavator functions operating as expected apart from the dubious slew drive as mentioned. There is a fair bit of surface rust around the track frames and tracks.
TRACKS
3630mm long x 500mm wide flat tracks. Moderate wear on the rollers and sprockets. Chain bushes well worn on one side. Shoes okay. Minor to moderate wear on idlers.
