| COMMENT OPERATORS AREA: Tidy. Vinyl seat upholstery is in good condition apart from one tiny tear in the lower RH side of the backrest. RH instrument panel has a couple of cracks. Controls etc tidy. EXTERIOR PANELS: Mainly tidy - no rust or significant damage. The panel to the right of the operators legs has taken a knock which has pushed the RH side back by 10mm. The small hatch situated in the RH skirt panel has one broken and bent hinge. Remaining panels are in good condition. Paintwork presentable - usual wear around work affected areas including some heavy scrapes and scratches at the rear of the counterweight and engine bonnet. FUNCTIONAL EQUIPMENT: Boom and dipper are in good working condition. Moderate wear evident at the boom / dipper junction pin and boom swivel pin. Minor wear at the boom swivel ram eyelets, crowd ram eyelets, crowd link eyelets, dipper ram eyelets and crowd relay arm trunion. Little or no detectable wear in the boom base pin and boom ram eyelets. The crowd ram seal and the dipper ram seal are leaking. Includes a wedge-lock quick-hitch and one 900mm wide cleaning bucket. Auxiliary hydraulics piped to mid dipper. Well used 1100mm wide blade. MECHANICAL: Engine reasonably clean - no visible leaks. Started well and ran smoothly with clean emission. Track and excavator functions operating as expected. TRACKS 1450mm long x 240mm wide rubber tracks are starting to get a bit chewed - 60% remaining tread. Adjusters well out. Minor wear on sprockets and idlers. Moderate wear on rollers. |
