COMMENT CAB INTERIOR: Tidy. The seat upholstery is in good condition - looks to have been recovered at some stage. The steel mesh roof lining has a few very minor patches of surface rust but otherwise is in good condition. The interior light lense is missing. The vinyl covering on top of the dash panel has pulled away at the edges and there is a 10mm hole in the middle. Apart from one missing warning light lense the dash and instruments etc are very tidy. Thick pieces of rubber have been fitted as a floor mat. EXTERIOR PANELS: Tidy. There is one tiny patch (15mm) of rust which has eaten through the R/H side at the rear of the cab. The remaining panels are all reasonably straight with no notable rust or damage. The fuel tank has taken a couple of knocks resulting in two shallow dents. Paintwork around the machine is presentable with only some minor chips and scratches and a few minor areas of surface rust. Chassis rails and underframe are covered with dry mud but what is visible looks to be in good condition. A sturdy catwalk with handrails has been built and fitted to the L/H side of the cab. BODY: The dump body looks in typical working condition. The deck floor has been recently re-plated and a 1500mm long section of the sides at the rear has also been re-plated. The remaining sides are well worn and undulate between the ribs by 15mm but are still in serviceable condition. The outer frame has taken a few light knocks but there is no major damage or fatigue evident. There are a couple of small patch weld repairs. The paint around the deck sides etc has mostly worn off. MECHANICAL: Engine work dirty. There is a minor oil leak on the R/H side of the engine which looks to becoming from the turbo oil drain fitting on the side of the block. A second very minor leak evident at the injector pump throttle shaft seal. Cold started instantly and ran smoothly with clean emission. The orbital control valve on the steering has some oil and dirt residue on it - possibly seeping from the gland seal. The air conditioning belt has been removed. Hydraulic pumps, transmission, differential and deck ram all nice and dry with no evidence of any leaks. GENERAL: A reasonably tidy dump truck that is presently in day to day work. TYRES 16.00 x 25 Industrial mudgrips. Remaining tread: Front - L/H 15mm, R/H 20mm. Rear - L/H 17mm & 20mm, R/H 18mm.
