COMMENT
CAB INTERIOR: Rough. The drivers seat cushion is completely worn out and the backrest is not much better. The passengers seat cushion has a long seam split and is very grubby. Dash, parcel tray and glove compartment area complete but sun fatigued and faded with various splits and cracks - also very dirty. There is a hole where a radio has been removed from the centre console. Roof lining intact but very grubby and covered in black stains. The R/H door lining is loose and has a 250mm crack with usual boot scuffs at the bottom. Various scuffs and scratches on the hard plastic L/H door lining and the grab handle trim is missing. The drivers floor mat is completely worn away - remaining floor mats intact but also very dirty. Generally rough as guts inside. CAB EXTERIOR: Rough. The front panel has had a hard life - several large shallow dents extending as far as the corner panels. The plastic trim below the L/H side of the front windscreen has an L shaped split and is also dented in. The L/H door has been over opened at some time resulting in damage to leading edge of the door and the trailing edge of the adjacent corner panel. There are a couple of wide shallow dents in the drivers door also and the L/H door skin is loose and vibrating. The front bumper is bent and twisted with a 30mm long split in the top. The wipe rubber is missing from the L/H door. There is no significant rust around the cab however the paintwork is fairly rough with usual stone chips on the front panels and sides of the roof. BODY: 3250mm long steel framed flatdeck with 240mm high hinged sides. Timber decking is in reasonable repair - basically sound but weather worn on the top surface. The sides bow outwards by 15mm however the cladding is okay. The tailgate frame has a 20mm bend at the top and the timber cladding is loose with a 400mm long split. MECHANICAL: Engine grubby. The R/H side of the block is covered with oil - unable to determine source but suspect it maybe coming from a banjo fitting on the block that supplies oil to the vacuum pump. Also a moderate leak at the rocker cover gasket. Cold started well - minor grey smoke initially but cleared once warm. A nut is missing from the R/H engine mount and the radiator core is half rotted out. GENERAL: This truck is generally rough and has seen a fair bit of hard work - may suit semi-retirement in an off road application or alternatively a wrecking proposition.
