| COMMENT CAB INTERIOR: Rough. The drivers seat upholstery is torn and tatty - backrest okay. There are several large seam splits and tears in the passenger seat upholstery also. The dash and instrument area are complete but fairly grubby. The centre console, parcel tray and glove compartment are all rough as guts - several pieces of plastic broken and a stereo removed. There are two flower pots screwed on the parcel tray. Roof lining rough - sagging and split. Rear wall lining needs to be re-secured. Both door linings dirty and scruffy. Drivers floor mat is completely worn away - passenger side floor mat not much better. The lid is missing from the glovebox. The fuse box cover below the glove compartment is missing also. CAB EXTERIOR: Rough. There has been several patch repairs to rust on the R/H wheel guard and the inside of the lower drivers door. There are several large dents across the full width of the front panel. A heavy rub has dented the lower drivers door and there are a couple of smaller dents near the handle. There are some further rough patch repairs welded at the bottom of the L/H door (both inside and out) and the door-step well. The weather strip is loose on the L/H door window. Paintwork has seen better days - fairly rough with some touch up work and areas of primer - various stone chips and work related scratches. BODY: 3100mm long steel tip deck with 600mm high fixed sides - bevel corners. SRUB hoist. Dual swing, cantilever latch tailgate. Steel decking basically sound - some rust pitting and 10mm undulations between supports. Sides and tailgate reasonably tidy - a few patches of surface rust need a clean up and paint before they get any worse. MECHANICAL: Engine road dirty - started well with clean emission warm at idle but some minor blue smoke evident warm at revs. There is some minor oil dampness around the rocker cover gasket and a moderate oil leak at the front main seal. GENERAL: This truck is well used and starting to show its age - seems to be a reasonable runner however the cab interior lets its done and the exterior is fairly rough and ready also. TYRES 7.00R15 Virgin radials all round. Remaining tread: Front - 65%. Rear - L/H 10 & 40%, R/H 30 & 15%. |
