| COMMENT CAB INTERIOR: Unit is fitted with a Rollmaster safety cab. The cab interior is in fair condition. The roof lining is missing leaving insulation foam exposed. The cab superstructure is built mainly from 40 x 40 box section and this is in good condition with no structural rust evident. There is quite a bit of surface rust showing which requires paint before it gets any worse. The instrument panel is tidy and complete but sitting askew by 25mm at one side. The vinyl seat upholstery has a couple of splits in the cushion and the arm rests are worn through. Floor mats worn and grubby. The small window on the lower L/H side on the front panel is badly cracked - remaining windows and window rubbers good. EXTERIOR PANELS: Tidy - no notable rust or damage. Paintwork generally presentable - usual wear around work affected areas. The white paint on the upper cab has aged and faded with surface rust starting to show through. FUNCTIONAL EQUIPMENT: Loader superstructure looks in typical working condition. All pivots are well greased. Little or no detectable wear in the main arm pivots, lift ram eyelets or main arm / bucket junction pins. Minor to moderate wear in the crowd link eyelets. Both the crowd ram and lift ram seals are weeping slightly. 1920mm wide bucket with a good welded-on cutting edge. Auxiliary hydraulic lines piped to the lower main arms. The chassis and steering joints are also well greased. No detectable play in the chassis joint - moderate wear in the steering ram eyelets. MECHANICAL: There is some oil dampness on the rear face of the hydraulic oil tank which presumably is just spill. Engine reasonably clean - a leak below the injector pump looks to be coming from a banjo fitting on the fuel return line or possibly the injector pump / timing cover joint. Started well and ran smoothly with clean mission both hot and cold. Powershift transmission has two forward speeds and one reverse - connects up well. Generally appears a tidy little loader in typical working condition for its age. Would benefit from some fresh paint around the upper and interior cab. TYRES 42 x 17/20. Matched set of Dunlop industrial mudgrips with 60% remaining tread all round. |
