| COMMENT CHASSIS AND UNDERFRAME: Is in good condition with no visible fatigue or rust. The framework looks to have been originally galvanized however stone chips have worn the galvanizing off and surface rust is well established underneath there is no structural rust or fatigue evident. The main chassis rails are 75 x 35 box section. The single pole draw bar is made from 75 x 50 box section with a strong-back on the underside made from flat metal. 50mm standard tow coupling. The axle is made from 50 x 50 box section on standard spring suspension. There are 50 x 50 angle iron cross members underneath at 450mm centers. BODY: 1920mm long x 1230mm wide general purpose deck with 280mm high sides. Hinged tailgate and headboard. The deck consists of steel sheet over plywood which is in reasonable repair - just a coating of surface rust. The top edges of the sides have numerous dents and scratches and both mudguards have endured a few knocks. LED tail lights. TYRES 185R14 Virgin radials with 50% remaining tread. |
