| COMMENT CAB INTERIOR: Rough as guts. The upholstery on the drivers and passengers seats is completely buggered - torn and tatty. Centre seat not so bad but very dirty. The dash and instrument area is okay however the centre console is rough with knobs missing off the heater controls and sun fatigue cracks on the parcel tray. Roof lining intact but very dirty. Rear wall lining has a couple of 100mm long splits and several holes. Both door linings are absolutely filthy and the map pocket is detached and window winder knob missing from the drivers side. Window winder knob also missing from the L/H door lining along with a 25mm hole. Drivers mats completely worn out - passenger side floor mats no better. The upholstery covering the side pillars is also torn. Generally very scruffy and dirty inside. CAB EXTERIOR: Fair. There is a 30mm rust hole in the bottom corner of the L/H door and a further small rust hole in the R/H front corner panel. Further areas of rust blistering under the paint at the bottom of the R/H door, centre of the R/H side panel adjacent to the window and leading edge of the L/H door. The L/H step bracket is bent and twisted and the bottoms of both headlight brackets are rusted out - head lights still secure. There is a 100mm wide shallow dent at the top of the L/H guard and a couple of dimple dents in the cab roof. Paintwork fair - the top of both front mudguards are scratched and worn and usual stone chips on the front panel and doors. BODY: 5060mm long steel tip deck with 370mm high hinged sides. FOB hoist. Air latch tailgate is missing. Unable to view deck surface due to hot box - the hot box is not included with the truck. The sides are presentable with the usual bruises from the inside. Steel decking looks okay from the underside. Hoist operating as expected. MECHANICAL: Engine reasonably clean. Minor oil leaks at the R/H rear block side plate, sump gasket and injector pump drive spigot output shaft seal. Cold started immediately with some white smoke at first but cleared quickly and ran smoothly with clean emission. TYRES 10.00R20. Front - Virgins. Rear - Recaps. Remaining tread: Front - L/H 10%, R/H 20%. Rear - L/H 10 & 60%, R/H 60%. |
