COMMENT
CAB INTERIOR: Presentable. The fabric upholstery on both seats is reasonably tidy. There is a 200mm long crack in the plastic panel over the instruments - remaining dash, parcel tray and glove compartment tidy. There are sun splits in the upper part of both door linings but they are otherwise tidy. Some of the plastic trims in the overhead console are fractured where the screws are fastened. Roof lining good. Rear wall lining complete but covered in grubby marks and several small tears. Drivers side floor mat worn through to the metal - remaining floor mats not too bad. The plastic trim below the glove compartment on the L/H side of the dash needs to be resecured and the lower plastic trim panels below the steering column have been removed and are sitting in the tool locker at the back of the truck. CAB EXTERIOR: Mainly tidy. There is a fracture in the L/H fiberglass wheel guard and the plastic trim from the outside of L/H front panel has smashed off and is also sitting in the tool locker at the back of the truck. Minor damage to the bottom edge of the fibreglass front grille and a small deflection in the leading edge of the drivers door. Paintwork presentable - usual stone chips on the front panel and wear at entry / exit points. There is some rust expansion underneath the cab between the structural members and the floor panel on either side of the engine compartment. BODY: 1390mm high fixed compensating turntable with manual locks on the compensating mechanism. Aluminium chequerplate covers on the front half of the chassis and aluminium rear guards. Hydraulics fitted. MECHANICAL: Henderickson four spring rear suspension with equalising rockers. 4170mm wheelbase. Engine grubby. The R/H lower side of the block is wet with oil and there is a small amount of oil which appears to be coming from the injector pump - the majority looks to be coming from the turbo oil drain where it connects to the block. The L/H side of the timing cover is also wet with oil where the power steering pump is bolted on. The steering box itself also has residue oil on the side cover however this looks to be coming from the oil filler tube. There is soot on the R/H side of the engine block but no exhaust leaks were visible with the engine running - (the manifold gasket looks to have been replaced recently). Cold started well and ran smoothly with clean emission. A fairly well used truck that is starting to show its age - engine oil leaks require attention and the driver advises that it occasionally jumps out of gear when under heavy load. Aluminium wheels.
