COMMENT
CAB INTERIOR: Tidy. The seat upholstery is in reasonably good condition - just one small split in the backrest. The original clear plastic instrument cover has been broken and replaced with a piece of Perspex which has been glued on. The L/H joystick console has a 60mm long crack. Roof lining is intact but needs a clean. No floor mat. The cab door has taken a couple of knocks which have dented the frame and cracked the adjacent glass. It has also caused a couple of splits in the steel framework. EXTERIOR PANELS: The R/H side panels are nice and straight. The bottom of the engine cover has taken a knock which has split the plastic (30mm) below the lock and some surface bog has fallen out. The cab has a 200mm long x 10mm deep dent on the top L/H side. There are several dents in the L/H front pillar. Some rust is starting to bubble through the paint on the roof and an area 500mm long beneath the front window has a nasty build up of crusty rust flakes. Paintwork is faded with usual wear around work affected areas and some heavy scrapes on the counterweight. FUNCTIONAL EQUIPMENT: Boom and dipper assembly look in typical working condition. Only minor wear evident on the boom base pin, boom ram eyelets and dipper ram eyelets. Minor to moderate wear on the boom swivel pin and boom / dipper junction. Heavy wear evident on the boom swivel ram eyelets, boom swivel relay arm pivots, dipper / quick-hitch junction, crowd relay arm trunion, crowd link ends and crowd ram eyelets. Three buckets are included: 985mm wide cleaning - 400mm wide digging and a 290mm wide trenching. 1450mm wide blade. Hydraulic rams are clean and dry. Wedge-lock quick-hitch is very sloppy. MECHANICAL: Engine reasonably clean - no visible leaks. Cold started instantly and ran smoothly with clean emission. Track and excavator functions all operating as expected. The L/H track is misaligned and the inner edge is rubbing on the upper roller mounting bracket and is only half on the roller.
TRACKS
1800mm long x 300mm wide rubber tracks - Some shallow cuts & small chunks missing - 70 to 80% remaining tread. Minor wear on L/H top roller. Moderate wear on R/H top roller and idlers. Mod to heavy wear on bottom rollers. Heavy wear on sprockets.
