COMMENT
CAB INTERIOR: The vinyl seat upholstery is in reasonable condition - just a couple of small splits. The R/H arm rest is worn through and there are several cracks in the L/H arm rest. Dash, instruments and controls are complete however the instrument lenses have faded with a yellow tinge. The R/H front window has been replaced with Perspex. L/H side window is smashed but still intact. Some rust at the bottom of the front window surround requires attention with an area 130mm long x 30mm wide that has eaten away the inner skin. The R/H cab pillar has been repaired with a piece of 50 x 50 ange iron. There are three small rust holes above the front window and several other small areas of crusty rust around the cab interior. The roof lining has been removed. Generally dirty inside with a few resident spiders. There is a gap visible between the cab and the R/H console - suspect the cab may be slightly bent. The L/H window is secured with a rubber bonnet strap. EXTERIOR PANELS: Fair. There is no major damage around the panelwork however quite a few areas of rust require a clean up and some new paint. There are several large patches of rust blistering under the paint below both cab side windows. The R/H cab window looks to be twisted and there has been a previous repair to the window frame. The L/H cab door latch is missing and the door has a couple of rust holes and several patches of crusty surface rust. Further rust bubbling under the paint around the ROPS frame. Further patches of rust have lifted the paint on both lower panels under the cab and some places around the top of the cab and the front L/H upper loader frame. There are some shallow dents in the top of the engine cover. Paintwork has usual chips and scratches with areas of surface rust. The R/H front spot light is smashed and one rear spot light and brake light are also broken. FUNCTIONAL EQUIPMENT: Loader superstructure looks in typical working condition. Heavy wear evident in the crowd ram eyelets, crowd link eyelets and crowd relay trunion. Moderate wear in the main arm base pins. The bucket cutting edge is worn but still okay. The bucket is mounted on a quick-hitch assembly. There is heavy wear evident in the lift ram eyelets. Auxiliary hydraulics are piped to the lower main arms - the R/H side steel hydraulic lines are bent and the bracket that secures them is broken. R/H crowd ram seal leaking. MECHANICAL: Engine work dirty - minor oil leaks at the L/H side of the rocker cover and injector pump throttle shaft seal. Cold started well and ran smoothly with clean emission. The coolant had to be topped up before starting but there are no leaks apparent. There is notable play in the main chassis pivot joint. Rear brake pads are low with only 4mm remaining.
