| COMMENT CAB INTERIOR: Tidy. The upholstery on the drivers and passengers seats is in good condition. Dash and instrument area tidy. There are three knobs missing from the heater controls and the vinyl upholstery on top of the glove compartment and centre console has some fatigue resulting in a large area having peeled off. Roof lining is complete but grubby. Rear wall lining intact - just one 30mm cut. Both door linings complete however a chunk of plastic has broken off the R/H interior handle / armrest on the R/H one. The drivers floor mat is mismatched and very worn - several holes and splits in the passengers side floor mat. The drivers seat has been replaced with a KAB 411 suspension seat. There is a large hole in the interior light lense. Generally presentable inside however the glovebox lid is held down with a piece of wire. CAB EXTERIOR: Very tidy - no notable rust or damage. There is one tidy dent in the centre of the R/H side panel and the aluminum protectors have been removed from both front mudguards. Paintwork generally in good condition - one small area is chipped off at the leading edge of the drivers door. BODY: 4410mm long steel deck with 750mm high fixed sides - radius corners. FOB hoist. Dual swing, air latch tailgate. Steel decking basically sound but undulates 35mm between supports. The sides are in sound condition but bow outwards by 20mm. The tailgate has taken a beating from the inside and a 700mm long section at the bottom corner has been pushed up by 40mm with a 350mm long crack. MECHANICAL: Engine road dirty. There is some oil and dirt residue on the L/H side of the block and injectors - suspect this is just oil spill as there is no evidence of any leaks. Cold started well and ran smoothly with clean emission. There is a slight exhaust leak coming from the exhaust brake where it bolts on to the manifold. A manual stop cable has been fitted. GENERAL: Overall a tidy truck for its age. An auxiliary fuel tank has been fitted with a hand pump and filler mounted on the L/H side behind the cab. Note: The truck is presently fitted with tubeless tyres and rims and the vendor intends to swap these for tubed tyres. Please check the status of the tyres before making a tender submission. |
