| COMMENT CHASSIS AND UNDERFRAME: Looks in good condition - clean and well painted with no visible fatigue or structural rust. The main chassis rails are 155 x 95 I beams with 6mm plate cross members curved to fit the under side of the tank. The cross members are at 625mm centers. MECHANICAL: 10 ton axles with 10 stud oil hubs on spring suspension. Full air, S cam brakes with spring parking chambers. Where visible the slipper pads indicate moderate wear. Remaining brake lining wear: 80% both sides. BODY: The stainless steel tank measures 5100mm long x 1900mm wide x 950mm high. There are two hinged access hatches on the top. There is an enclosed compartment at the rear where a pump was housed however the pump has now been removed. The tank generally appears in sound condition. There are walkways along both sides. TYRES 10.00R20 Recaps with 80% remaining tread both sides. |
