COMMENT CAB INTERIOR: Fair. The seat upholstery is in good condition. Dash, instrument panel and controls reasonably tidy however the front corner has broken off the plastic L/H console. The L/H front and centre front windows are smashed but still intact. The roof lining is torn off leaving only the foam remaining. Painted metal areas are generally okay. The rubber boots surrounding the loader control levers have perished and torn. Steering wheel and quick-spin knob good. EXTERIOR PANELS: Generally straight with no significant rust or damage. The revolving light on the R/H rear guard is broken and the L/H front corner of the cab lower panel has been dented in by 30mm - should be fairly easy to remove and straighten. The lower cab panels on the R/H side are missing exposing the brake master cylinders and hyd control valve. The R/H side lower engine cover has taken a knock which has damaged the front hinge but it is still secure and working. A couple of the rear grille louvers are bent at the ends. Remaining panels fairly good. Paintwork is aged and faded with usual work related scrapes and scratches - some areas of surface rust becoming established. FUNCTIONAL EQUIPMENT: Loader superstructure looks in typical working condition. Hydraulic rams are clean and dry. Heavy wear evident at the main arms / bucket junction pins. Moderate wear at the crowd link ends. Minor to moderate wear at the crowd relay arm trunions and bucket ram eyelets. Only minor wear detectable in the main arm base pins and crowd ram eyelets. 2375mm wide grab bucket. The rear edge of the front bucket section is worn and a 150mm high section of the sides has bent out by 40mm and started to split at the bottom. Heavy wear on the bucket cutting edge. The vendor advises that the hydraulics are creeping - fault light is flashing. MECHANICAL: Engine grubby - there is a minor oil leak below the injector pump but unable to determine source. Rocker cover gasket looks to be weeping oil also. Cold started instantly with a large puff of white smoke which cleared immediately and then ran smoothly with clean emission. The bottom of the implement control hydraulic bank is wet with oil. The R/H steering ram looks to be leaking however this may be oil dripping down from the valve bank. Park brake is not holding. A Cat key is broken off in the ignition - the other half of the key can be used to start the machine. TYRES 17.5/25 Industrial mudgrips. Casings generally sound - there is a slash in the side wall of one tyre which doesnt appear to have penetrated too far. Remaining tread: Front - L/H 13mm, R/H 8mm. Rear - L/H 13mm, R/H 12mm.
