COMMENT CAB INTERIOR: Rough. The seat cushion upholstery is ripped and torn - backrest okay but well worn and very dirty. The front window is missing. Both track control leavers are loose. The digital dash console has broken off and been remounted with some aluminum strap. The door latch is broken and the roof lining needs to be re-secured. The plastic caps on top of the boom control leavers are broken. Cab floor is covered with mud, debris and broken bits from the track motor. Generally very grubby and rough inside. EXTERIOR PANELS: Rough. The body has had logging protection fitted over most of the exterior however a long section has been cut out of the frame at the rear and the L/H side has been removed altogether. The front R/H side panel is missing and the rear R/H side panel is dented and bent. The ROPS frame has seen better days most of the bars from the lower front window protector are missing and there are several large cracks and holes in the superstructure. The ROPS frame is far from being OSH compliant and will need to be thrown away and replaced. The cab door windows have been replaced with Perspex and this has been riveted on. The engine cover has several large dents and there are two 30mm deep dents in the front lower section of the L/H window frame. Paint is in poor condition with extensive scrapes and scratches all over. FUNCTIONAL EQUIPMENT: A logging grapple and rotator is fitted. One jaw ram is leaking oil - this looks to be coming from the fittings - unable to be certain. Rotator is operational. There does not appear to be a bush in the adapter for the grapple pin. There are two heavy steel hose protectors welded onto the sides of the dipper. Moderate to heavy wear evident at the boom base pin, boom rams top & bottom eyelets and the boom / dipper junction pin. Moderate wear on the dipper ram eyelets. MECHANICAL: The R/H track motor inner guard and outer cover have been removed and placed in the cab along with some broken gears and bearings. The main drive gear is missing from the spigot shaft of the R/H track planetary gearbox. Engine grubby - oil dampness on the timing cover and at the rear of the injector pump. The engine block and filter are wet with oil at the front of the motor below the turbo. The pulley has been removed from the air conditioning pump. Required jumper assistance but started well and ran as expected. GENERAL: This machine is as rough as guts and has had a very hard life. Do not purchase with out careful inspection. Will require extensive refurbishment to reinstate to operational condition - alternatively a wrecking proposition. TRACKS Both tracks are loose and in very poor condition. Shoes have chunks missing from the leading edges. Heavy wear on the sprockets and top rollers. Moderate wear on the idlers. Bottom rollers not viewed.
