COMMENT CAB INTERIOR: Rough. The vinyl seat upholstery is in poor condition - has come unstitched at the front edge of the cushion and the backrest has several splits and tears. The roof lining is grubby, hanging down and has several large rips. The central pivot bush in the blade control joystick has collapsed. The gear shift lever has grooves worn in it. The black plastic dash covering is starting to peel off and the fuel gauge has misted over. Ignition is difficult to turn. The paintwork inside is worn with areas of surface rust and generally very grubby. EXTERIOR PANELS: The outer edge of the cab floor has broken away on the L/H side - R/H side is almost broken off. ROPS roof has taken several heavy knocks and the two rear corners are bent down by 150mm. The middle section is bent down 30mm. Battery cover missing. L/H rear grab handle broken off. R/H rear grab handle has a large bend. The front struts of the ROPS frame have taken several knocks and the R/H one has a slight bend. Both side engine covers are bent. Radiator grille has several dents also. Paintwork is in poor condition - faded with numerous scrapes, scratches and extensive wear. FUNCTIONAL EQUIPMENT: Six way blade fitted. Both side pivot rams are leaking. The trunion on the R/H side of the C-frame has been repaired at some stage and has bent and split (150mm long along the pin boss). Mounting base of the blade angle ram is also bent and damaged. There are several 70mm long fatigue cracks at the bottom of the stiffening ribs on the top section of the blade and a 300mm long crack almost right through the main C-frame structure. MECHANICAL: Engine grubby - no visible leaks. The belly plate underneath the engine is wet with oil but unable to determine source. Started well and ran as expected with some white smoke evident. The transmission is locking in gear and the steering brakes are not working. The bushes on the ends of the track frame cross beams have collapsed. GENERAL: This machine is rough as guts and not suitable for the faint hearted. Will require extensive refurbishment to re-instate to operational condition or is probably best suited for parts recovery. Do not buy with out close inspection. There is a Caterpillar 55H winch mounted at the rear - cable is frayed and broken. TRACKS Several grouser shoes are missing and the remainder are well used. Heavy wear evident on the sprockets and idlers. Bottom rollers not viewed.
