COMMENT CAB INTERIOR: Fair. There are a couple of large seam splits in the operators seat cushion. And the top of the backrest is sun fatigued. Dash console and controls tidy. Painted metal areas okay - some surface rust getting established around the rear window and edges of the floor panel - (nothing serious). Roof lining complete. Windows and window rubbers all good. Some oil residue and grime around the RH main hydraulic control bank. Generally dirty inside and overdue for a clean. EXTERIOR PANELS: Very tidy - no notable rust or damage. Paintwork generally in good condition - looks to have had a midlife repaint. FUNCTIONAL EQUIPMENT: Superstructure and blade carriage look in typical working condition - no visible fatigue. Minor wear on the LH lift ram trunion and yoke. Moderate to heavy wear on the RH lift ram trunion and yoke. Minor wear on the blade side-shift ram eyelets and blade tilt ram eyelets. Heavy wear on the carriage side-shift ram eyelet. Only minor wear evident on the scarifier lift arms trunion, swing arms trunion and ram eyelets. Moderate wear on the scarifier lift link ball ends. Eleven tyne scarifier with three tynes present. Moderate wear on the front axle king pins. Moderate to heavy wear on the front axle main horizontal pivot. Only minor wear detectable on the steering joints and the wheel lean pivots. The front wheel lean ram seal is leaking badly. 3650mm wide blade with a reasonable two piece cutting edge. MECHANICAL: Little or no determinable play in the main chassis pivot. 8 to 10mm of play in the chassis steering ram eyelets. Upper engine reasonably clean. Some oil around the RH side of the lower engine looks to be coming from the head / block joint. Further minor leak behind the oil cooler housing on the LH side. Cold started well and ran smoothly with clean emission both hot and cold. The vendor advises that the handbrake is not holding and the wheel brakes are also due for investigation and repair. Also that the unit has lost its drive and the vendor suspects a transmission problem. TYRES 14.00R24 Bridgestone recaps all round. Casings well used and a little aged but basically sound. Tread low - 5 to 10% remaining.
